Weekends!

i thought it wld be good if our weekends is 3 days long..
1 day for family, 1 day for friends, 1 day for myself!
that wld be so well balanced.

  • Janice's advance birthday celebration, Lunch @ Charcoal & Chilling out at Minds Boardgame Cafe
  • Family Dinner @ Hong Kong Cafe, Katong Village
  • Australian University Open @ Orchard Hotel
  • Subway Lunch~ my first time!

Minds Cafe
mich mich! it wld be complete with u!

ive been to the another boardgames cafe called Settlers, i wld prefer Minds! not just the cosy ambience but also the wide variety F&B. frm main courses to fingerfoods to interesting drinks. friendly staff over there makes it even better =)

we had lotsa fun man! 2 hours of fun @ 5dollar per person.
started off with Game of Life, and i think Yang Heng & Candy enjoyed it the most.. they were damn excited, haha! and we went on to the next game which was recommended by the staff over there, called "Jurassic Jumble" haha we screamed, shout and i got so excited, i scratched Glenn's hand. opps! sorry! its something like Heart Attack, very fast pace and something most wld enjoy and get crazy over. we had so much fun i swear! Candy lost and we dared her to go over to the table beside and tell a guy there there he has got a nice pair of glasses. HAHA! she did it. sporting enough! :p oh well, i still owe the guys 3 dares? they say they will claim it back at sch..

Hong Kong Cafe @ Katong Village
lousy!

after so much of the Hong Kong Cafe boom in SG i finally had a chance to try one. sadly, pretty disappointed. even the most basic Milk Tea was bad, not thick enough. nothing close to those good ones i tried in HK. it was very crowded though, full house. wonder why theres a 10%service charge when there wasnt much service. whats more! it was expensive. 6main course + 3 drinks = 87bucks.

looking forward in trying better ones.

Australian Uni Open
with tim.

Its a fair where major Australian Uni will come together hosted by IDP. since im more interested in going over to Perth, i zoomed into Uni of Western Australia and Curtin Uni. went over to Curtin's booth and enquired abt the business course there..the lady was really nice, explained to me bit by bit, abt the sch, the business course and all.

went over just to enquire more about the courses and course fees over there. lil did i expected to be offered a bachelor in commerce by Curtin aft a short interview and review of my results for the past few semesters. its a 3 yrs course but base on my diploma and if i major in tourism & marketing or tourism & public relations, its only gonna be ablt 2 yrs. well, im glad of course! =)) at least no matter wad, im still given a place there at feb2009. the lady said i'll be able to make it for the july intake in 2008 but it wldnt be too good cause i wont have time to adapt to the change in environment. true !

i went to enquire at Uni of Western Australia(UWA) too, the guy at the booth said its possible for me to apply now and wld most prolly be accepted but he suggest that i apply next yr. cause along the way i might wanna change course or wadever, might juz complicate the application.

will ask ard more! and of course wait for beloved Nichole to be back, im sure she's the best person i shld ask since she have been in Perth for the past 2 yrs and also a student of UWA~~

and aft which, we went for lunch at Subway! finalllllyyy! my first & i love it!

eh i realised subway its a franchise and eastside doesnt have any outlet. ohhh.. ive got a big idea of opening one. haha! $$$$$$ ya if i have the $ i wld, too bad!

hope all had a great weekends!
back to sch~

good night world =)
